This vibrant songstress won the title of Ms. Senior Massachusetts 2007.This pageant is part of Senior America and is for women over 60 who are ready to make a difference in their communities. Fran is devoted to bringing the "Broadway Show" to the many Seniors confined to their homes because of disabilities or health limitations. She has continued her work and volunteers with the Cameo Club all over the state of Massachusetts, while dazzling audiences at many Nursing Homes, Assisted living facilities, Adult day care, and Senior Centers. She appeared 5 years on board The Horizons Edge Casino Cruises for Seniors out of Lynn, Massachusetts and was recently selected to host her own TV show in Boston. 7000 people in Salt Lake City, Utah at the Convention Center, witnessed the versatile song styles of Fran Owens, who has recorded more than 35 albums and has 5 new CDs singing music from the 20's to the 60's , including some classic country. She continues to travel all over the United States performing with other Senior America Queens, in Nashville, TN, Branson, MO, Atlantic City, NJ, Las Vegas and Laughlin, NV, and Tunica, MS. She knows that seniors are never going out of style and enjoys using her "God given talents"
to make a difference in lives she touches every day. She says: " You can always give a smile, a warm touch and love from your heart." She is always looking for new places to perform, and intends to sing her way into the lives of those seniors who need a "LIFT".
